    Cash not accepted

In Hutto at the football game. Walked up to concession stand and was told they don’t accept cash. Was further told the Hutto athletic dept would keep them out if they did accept it.

Realized not accepting cash started during Covid but we’re well beyond that ?!?!

    Bunch of horse hockey

Doesn't surprise me. Half of the students now don't know how to make change correctly without a cash register telling them how.

Every stadium does it now. For one thing it keeps concession workers from pocketing cash

Seeing it more and more. I kindly give them the Amex for the higher transaction fee.

Just a matter of time before buying anything with cash is over.
Digital currency makes it easier to tax you on every purchase you make.

Becoming very common. Those not phase me either way. I use a DEBIT card anyway. Moreover, for our small business we are strongly looking at going that route also. As noted, stops sticky fingers, stops robbery, but just as important it could significantly lower our insurance rates............"no cash on premises!"

All fine and good till you purchase from individuals.
Want a 20k tractor from an individual? Get ready for that tax.

Not sure if I am following. But I guess you can always go get the cash out of your bank account. Or, are you saying that cash will not even be available to the general public? Either way I have faith that our brilliant grandkids and great grandkids will come up with a system to get around it that WE cannot imagine today.

I’m trying to follow what you’re saying. Can you explain that “ tax?”
