Well boys and girls, it's time. Hope everyone got their orientation done and ready for next weekend. The weather pattern is going to change up anything you had planned previously.. Going from bone dry to 4-6" of rain in the next few days. Weather is showing Friday - 67* w/ NNW winds at 12mph and 25% rain // Sat - 69* w/ W winds at 9mph and 25% rain // Sun - 72* w/ S winds at 9mph and 10% rain.

Going to be a challenge this year but I'm ready!

I was scouting a couple weeks ago, dry as a bone. Sloughs and creeks were dry, probably going to be full now. Acorns will be floating, at least the roads won't be as dusty. Good luck to the Seg A hunters.

I was praying for no rain throughout the hunt.. I had THE spot.. but noooooooooooooooooooo... cant make it that easy.

Definitely not cold, but I’ll take the change after this hot fall! Back for the 2nd year. Last year was hot. Looking to RV camp nearby somewhere. Looking forward to meeting some folks.

There a bunch of RV parks on 377 north of Whitesboro and that doesn't include Juniper Point east on Texoma

I spent a few hours out in Goode today and found lots of good sign. Glad I had my froggtoggs on.
