    Anyone Else Have This Problem?

Ever try to draw, anchor, aim, and release without getting busted? Has happened to me several times. All afternoon sits and the sun is behind me so I'm thinking they can see my silhouette to clearly. Got to get out for a morning sit with the sun in the opposite direction maybe? That doe front center is offering me a nearly perfect shot.

Chum a spot away from there. They will find it.

Hang something behind you so you’re not silhouetted. Something dark and wear dark shirt to match. That’s a lot of eyes to beat. Good luck.

That has been my problem for several years now. Just too many deer! I am primarily a ground hunter and hate pop up blinds so shot opportunities are really rare. There is no way that I can hunt a feeder. I have to find a trail and hope for solo deer.

you have lots of eyewitnesses to beat......if they dont smell you and bust out do as Moser said.....shoot the one that keeps hanging around after everyone left

I used to hunt tripods and the silhouetting is real. I used a piece of military surplus camo netting hung behind me on a piece of tie wire stretched between two trees. It worked very well. I later built a half circle frame that attached where the shooting rail would have been and tied the camo netting to it. It worked very well too. I had to make it “stand off” from the tripod in order to draw without my elbow hitting it though.

Since I have started hunting out of a Krivoman style blind, I very seldom get busted like I use to hunting out of a tripod!

I have a 20” tree behind me and netting but the netting isn’t thick enough. I will double it up this week.

There could be way worse problems.
