    Attach cheap solar LED motion lights to your feeder. It might scare them off a couple times but they will get used to it.

    Years ago I added red and green tape to the lights, but in the end, it doesn't matter.
    The hogs no longer mind the bright white LED light turning on while they are there.

    However, the hogs still do not like being shot in the middle of the night.

    YMMV. I don't have many pics of mature bucks under the lights.

      Animals won't see the illuminated area of a red or green light. However, they will see a bright dot of a flashlight. Ease the light down on them slow and steady. And try not to flash them in the eyes until your target is picked.
