HEB Brisket Queso

I bring it to our deer camp for the guys.....they don't live in HEB country and they DEVOUR it!! They are ****** if I don't bring one with me.

Finally picked up one of these brisket queso and tried it out tonight. For being pre-made from the grocery store it was good but we had to add some of our spices to it as others had mentioned.

Slap ya mama, pinch of seasoning salt, little more pico. Really nothing special.

Yea, If I drive by one, I pick up a few and throw them in the freezer. Good Stuff

We have been buying it for a while now. It seems it has really increased in price. For how simple it is made it sure is good.

I do like them on occasion. I add sliced jalapeños.

No. $13.84 is the price, they discount them down to $10 most of the time.

I like to warm it up over a fire or in the smoker with about half a beer and a little fajita seasoning or some cajun seasoning in it.

Decent queso and better than many of the run of the mill mexican restaurants. Also, easy to prepare in a pinch with basically no prep time. However, like most of HEB fresh pre-made items, it's expensive. We don't buy it often as my wife prefers the queso from a restaurant a few blocks from us. I don't mind as it's slightly cheaper and they throw in chips and a pint of salsa. Regardless, if you can get over the price, the HEB queso is good.
