First Hunt 2024

Between work and some
family health issues , we haven’t made a single sit this year at our home place in Lavaca County , or our new lease in Woodsboro.

Crawled into our fave tree in Lavaca county mostly to see a sunrise (no plans to shoot a dear) and maybe hammer a pig.

Feeder off before good shooting light and five minutes later we have a deer come in. Couple minutes later “it” is run off by a large boar.

We watch him eat corn until good daylight and I released an arrow.

So far my season is 0 deer and 4 pigs (3 recovered and 1 got onto neighbors)

Messy work there, but the end result was good. I do have two questions. 1) My tree stand and feeder? 2) If the answer to (1) is yes, why didn't you let Kendra shoot? No way she would have hit the wall of a blind from there. 😄
