Well I am having to make the switch this year or not hunt. Fighting a tough cancer battle that has caused me to lose 80 lbs. and a lot of muscle mass. Just bought a new Elite bow 2 years ago and loved it. Gave it to my grandson the other day and my Son in law has a seldom used Wicked Ridge Warrior XL I will shoot. The thing weighs a ton feels like so will need some kind of rest. Headed to Kansas 2 weeks from today so need to get cranking on preparation. Got to figure out hunting clothes as well as nothing fits anymore, lol. Have not been in the deer woods now for 2 years so really looking forward to the season. Gotta kick this disease and get on with life. Trusting God in all things.

I used the Trigger Stick in Africa and bought one when I got back home to use here. They are not cheap, but dang they work great. they make a short version and a long version. Cheapest I found was with Rogers Sporting Goods.

Rogers Sporting Goods, founded in 1980, is a family-owned store that offers the best in waterfowl, hunting, shooting and outdoor gear. Browse the vast selection of everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors.

Will do. Praise God I have special friends that I can lean on and will be my arms and legs and eyes to get me where I need to be. Those guys are the best.

I usually try and kill something every year with my crossbow, compound bow, and rifle. Hopefully next year I will add my recurve to the killing list. Hunting is hunting no matter what you kill with.
