    That seems a lot safer.

Do they use augers to install the anchors?

I would use a digger truck or a skid loader with auger to try spin them out. I bet you twist them off.

Yeap better be careful or gonna walk away with anchor still in the ground and a broken wrist. Lock in and hold tight.

That’s what I think is going to happen. They are going to twist off or twist of when he tries to reuse them.

It’s 517 ft lbs not 5100…..500 will break your wrist.

A 1" air impact will require the use of a rotary air compressor. They consume a lot of air. You could buy new anchors cheaper than the cost of rental. The 1" air impacts that we had at the plant were costing in excess of $10,000 twenty years ago. That may be the reason that you don't find them at the rental places.

No shizz...and thats exactly what I said on the last thread about this. Cut off what he can, sell for scrap to offset cost of new anchors. Hell a 4 pack on amazon is 30 bucks. The frustration and sweat aint worth my time and a 100 dollar bill

On most newer tractors you can. Just reverse the lines on older tractors and you can as well.

Most post hole drillers run off PTO, I can see being able to reverse a hydraulic one on FIL but those are scarce.

Only seen the option on skid steer. 72 Massey, 2014 and 2020 deere pto only one way. How would reverse in a pto even work? Every tractor I've ever ran pto quit as soon as the clutch went in
