    Matthew 5:43-48

Love for Enemies - “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?

Very difficult to do, but all things are possible with Christ Jesus! Pray for the lost souls of this world. Pray that their hearts will be softened and their spirits saved from the evil that has a hold on it. There is power in prayer!

This is SO hard sometimes, but just like the rest of God's ideas, this one works out best for us if we do it. Holding grudges hurts us way more than it hurts the person we hold a grudge against. If we hold on to hatred or anger, it just makes us bitter and unhappy. When we let go of those negative things and let forgiveness and love in, we are blessed -whether the other person responds in kind or not.

There is much wisdom in God's plan. Imagine that!

Yes, it is hard. Everything He says do is hard. But its hard because it goes against what the world says and its hard because we get in our own way. If we would get out of our own way and submit to God, it would be easy.
