    Selling my suppressor

Ive got a Dead Air Nomad L 30 that doesnt get used at all. Is it possible to just sell to another individual?

Have to go through a class 3 dealer and the usual channels, I believe.

No, they 100% have to go through the class 3 paperwork and buy a stamp just like you did to buy it.

I understand that, But do I just hold it till they get the paperwork all finished?

I’ve wondered about that myself. I only have one, and I don’t use it. Thought about selling it but didn’t know how easy the process would be.

Correct. Form 4 will need to be filled out and $200 tax paid and seller will hold until it is approved.

To go through a dealer, you would have to file a form 4/pay tax stamp to transfer to dealer, then another form 4/$200 tax would have to be filed and approved to transfer to the buyer

Wrong. Find someone to buy it. Have them fill out a form 4 and send it in with another $200. Once approved they can come pick it up. I’ve bought machine guns from individuals before and didn’t need to go through a dealer. Longas you both live in the same state.

The way you worded your original question it seemed as if you were asking if someone showed up with cash if you could "just sell" it to another individual. Glad you knew better than that.

You hold it, just like the dealer did with you, until your buyer is approved and has a stamp. Good luck.

I agree, my wording was bad. Doesn't sound like it'll be to much of a hassle. I guess Ill be listing it here in the future. Now just need to figure out the price to list at. Thank yall

Interesting topic & I have a couple I regularly use

What’s the fair market price of used suppressors?
Do they wear out? How much do they depreciate?

Since the wait is the same as a new one I would think depreciation would be steep but have no experience to back that up
