    Is this a fallow?

I can’t imagine it being a whitetail fawn that size on October 17th. If it’s a fallow it’s a first for around here

Whitetail fawn. Not abnormal if that’s in south Texas. They breed late

This is in north Texas - Shackelford County. Our fawns usually drop no later than June and the spot pattern looks different.

I'm not an exotic expert but it doesn't look like a normal whitetail fawn to me. Spots look a little off to me.

I gotta go with whitetail. Here’s one from our place about halfway between Houston and Dallas a month ago.

Looks real similar, and I thought it odd for us to have one like that in mid September.

Pretty sure it’s a whitetail fawn.

I would also say whitetails fawn.

I have a late arrival also.

100% whitetail, late fawn. Does that don’t get bred can go into estrus every 21 days, up to three times before getting bred.

WT. We see fawns occaisionally in early November with faint spots. They are usually outcasts or alone.
