I picked up a caddy timer system last week Thursday. When I got to my lease I began looking at it and see what was needed to install it on one of my feeders. I read the instructions, which I do not have on hand right now but were pretty basic but had a question and sent a message to the manufacturer through their "contact us" on their website but they still have not responded to my message. The caddy timer I bought did not have an antenna in the box but the directions said something about extending the antenna for better reception with the remote. The wiring harness has a single wire marked as antenna so I did not know if you just run this wire out of the box to receive the remote signal or is there supposed to be an actual antenna mounted on the feeder box where the timer is stored.
To simply state my question, is the caddy feeder system supposed to come with an antenna or can someone enlighten me on how this remote feeder system works? TIA
