popup camper ? and possible sale

Well, in a bit of a panic I purchased this little tent camper for my new lease. It's livable for now but needs some minor interior repair where there was once apparently a leak and the wood rotted some where the canvas attaches at the ceiling. I taped the culprit roof corners with eternabond. Interior seems like an easy fix but after spending a couple of nights in it, I know this tent camper is not for me. I'm just a very, very light sleeper and any little wind gust, cow moo, coyote yip or a grasshopper landing on the canvass will wake me up.

So I'm wondering, at the price point I paid ($1300) is it worth trying to fix up and sell or would this frame be strong enough to create a decent utility trailer if I wanted to just tear it down, part it out or whatever? It's a 1992 Coleman Destiny with clear title in my name btw. Kitchen portion was removed when I got it. Does have a stove that can be hung outside or used inside but I have not tested the propane yet. Added a new spare tire and the tires are good on it. Small enough to tow easy with any car. I'm just wondering what the value is here?

My cousin just bought one that looks very similar. She paid $2,000. I have seen a few converted into light duty trailers.

Don’t make a light duty utility trailer out of it, sell it for what you got in it
when I was guiding pronghorn and mule deer hunts in west Texas & New Mexico, I absolutely loved my popup
very mobile and easy for a single person to setup, but not a great cold weather shelter imo
sell it for what you got in it and upgrade to a more comfortable airstream or something
my buddy is selling his airstream because his dad has a newer bigger airstream , but I have spent many a night in it
and they are nice and quiet and warm + has a nice little shower when needed + cold air conditioning

Sell it for what you have in it and go on to the next camper. In that condition I think you paid about right, and it is worth a good bit more as is than as a utility trailer.

Yeah, I've come to realize having a title and registration on these cheap campers influences value significantly. I'd be ok with it most likely. Got down to 61 the other night and would have made for great sleep but the near full moon had the coyotes active all freaking night! Add to that the water trough in camp and cattle moving in and out. (reason for the wire around the camper)
