Best 12v feeder motor?

Need a new solid feeder motor and timer combo. Prefer 12v with varmit eliminator plate (no cage if i can avoid it). Or should I build my own with a generic box and the Timer plus solar?

My Sunslinger finally bit the dust and the new ones get terrible reviews with plastic construction.

motors are cheaper on amazon and so are the rest of the parts if you want to piece one together.

I can’t kill my everlast feeder boxes. I’ve had them on feeders for close to 10 years but have moved to stand and fill the last few years.

I pulled one out the tac room this month and it ran just fine.
