The structure of the story is such that it was enforcing that the animals were 'pets" and "livestock". Emotion was brought into the story and this is what will be focused on by the public. The fact that it was a bow that was the weapon of choice isnt going to matter to animal lovers. they will hit all of us, gun or bow hunters, and that is what we will have to counter.

And yes, the perps are just as bad as poachers, if they arent poaching already.

Well, it took place near Ben Wheeler, so I'm not suprised!! lots of low lifes in that area!! My brothers boss lives there and they've had several cows and one horse get shot before!! Not with arrows but with guns, but it's still the same, crap like that just sickens me !! I hope they catch 'em and punish them to the fullest!!
