NEED HELP! Replica antlers to replace stolen rack

We just moved and unfortunately some POS worker stole my 7 year old’s best buck to date out of our back house.

There were a dozen euro mounts together and his is the only one that they took…

Does anyone know of a taxidermist or individual that could help me out and build a set of replica antlers?

We just opened our last box from the move and they’re definitely gone…he’s going to be heart broken.

I have a ton of pics of it and probably a score sheet as well, as we entered it into the Muy Grande deer contest 2 years ago. It was the biggest buck ever shot off of my in laws place 😡.

Thanks for any help! Trying to do anything I can to make this right for my son.

I sure hate to hear that, what a shame. Usually the taxidermist needs the antlers so that he can make a mold. At least that the way I understand it.

Jerry Ayer is the guy you need. He has the Trophy Scan system and works with Los Cazadores creating replica mounts. Amazing work. He lives here in Blanco. Look them up on Facebook.

Thanks guys, problem is I think they would need the antlers to use the trophy scan deal - which I obviously don’t have anymore…need someone to work off of a bunch of pics and a score sheet - which I’m looking for now

Talk to Chance Love on here. He does phenomenal antler reproduction. And if he can't, he can point you to who can.

Unless technology has come farther than I’m aware of without antlers Taxi would have to sculpt a set off of pictures and measurements that you have, make a mold off of it and then pour the actual replica. If you can find someone to do this I’m afraid that the price is going to be extreme. Sorry that this has happened and hopefully there is a solution that I’m not aware of. Several Taxis on here that will hopefully chime in.

              this is the case ^^^^^

i know a guy that has produced some great replicas but he had the originals. He may be able to get close from pics, but i would imagine it’s gonna be very costly, if it’s even possible.

He is supposedly a pretty savvy taxidermist

I'm no help, but good luck figuring it out for your son. I hope whoever stole them trips and sends a tine up his pee hole.

Dang sorry to about here this Chad. Thieves suck. I had my 20' box trailer stolen this past weekend from my property, behind a 6' chain link fence. The cut the lock. I owned that railer for 18 years. I would have shot them if I would have caught them.

Yes, unfortunately to do an accurate replica the original antlers will be a must.

Did they scan it at Muy Grande?
