There’s a good chance to see the northern lights again tonight, y’all. Get out right after dark through midnight. That looks to be the best odds for a show.

Try your phone as it will take in more of the light than our eyes can, that’s for those in the northern part of the state. We won’t see anything in south Texas. Post pics please!Comment

I’m south east of San Antonio and can see it, albeit faintly, in the northern sky. It comes and goes in intensity, and if you are close to city lights then you won’t see it.Comment

A camera will pick up the lights better than your eye. Photo works better than video. For a while tonight we could see the aurora very well with our naked eyes. It looked like a big brush fire in the north with the sky glowing red and moving around. Super cool!
I have my big camera set up on a tripod taking a timelapse all night long. It should be a good one.
