    I had a 2000 F150 throwing misfire codes. I replaced all the coils and plugs and still got misfire codes. It wound up being the MAF sensor. I've found out over the years that the MAF can cause some funky things to happen.

      Both rockers on the exhaust side were shot. Replaced them and the clapping noise, DTCs, and CEL are all gone. I probably should have replaced the cam (it was iffy), but I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

        I have two close friends who had to do the whole top ends on those motors at 110k or so.
