Friday lunch does not include booze. Saw them on the food channel Monday. Irma's in downtown Houston. Craig Beggio likes the place.
So - no menu. About 6 verbal choices. My 2 guests went with 2 street tacos and I had enchiladas. They got 2 tacos each and I got 3 skinny enchiladas with a spoon of rice. Two glasses of tea and I had a coke.
With the 15% tip it was $109.00

I’m not sure the prices will ever go down at restaurants regardless of who is in office. Once they raise them no way they are going to lower them.

As much as I hate the Mexican food places taming over I can still get 2 good size tacos and a water here for like $5.

We are shocked our local mexican food place, Ernesto's Pilot Point, has barely raised prices if at all. Same with Dieter's BBQ in Lindsay, may have gone up a little but not much. I had a footlong at subway, nothing special, it and drink was $15. Another local place is good and fair priced, Poor Boy's on 377 north of Whitesboro and they don't go light on he food, double meat cheeseburger was $9 but huge and 100% better than fast food, single for me next time. We had mexican food place in town open up and I don't know anybody that I hang around with that will go back, food is ok but it is expensive but lots of cars in parking lot so people are willing to pay it I guess, we just drive 2 towns south for much better and cheaper.

What you're failing to mention is irmas isn't just the run of the mill restaurant. It's essentially the Vic and Anthony's of Mexican food. And it's certainly not worth the money. Irmas, OG ninfas and El tiempo are all within minutes of each other and over priced. The best tacos in that area is brothers (and they don't even have seating) or Vila arcos

Irma’s is for show. Location/name pricing.

I spend nearly $10 last night for 3 old school Taco Bell tacos and a drink last night. $1 was for the cinnamon crunchy things . Never again.

The food was awful. Not like the midnight meals I barely remember

Get a double Whataburger junior with cheese combo for 10 bucks. Same size as In n Out or P Terrys.

I can at night but not at lunch. I'd be worthless afterwards.

                            Dumb.

The headquarters is in San Antonio. The food is the same. No Whataburger in Chicago.

I down shifted to double meat Jrs too. They built a Wendys in the middle of the farm next to a new Chick-fil-A. Whataburger has competition on Mile 2 East. More rented land sold next to Outlet mall. Farm lost 80 acres last month, usually after the weeds take over they beg me to send a tractor. It’s raining so more weeds are on the way. Agdog shot a buck with his bow in Oklahoma this morning he sounds excited
