How many dogs have you owned?

I met a man a few years ago on his 100th birthday. He said he had about 39 of em. Out lived all but the one he had! How about you?

On my 8th one now. Had two Jack Russells , both lived for 16 and 18 respectively.

Have lost 8 or 9 good ones . 2 awesome dogs that broke my heart and my kids hearts . We currently have 2 Danes a great pyrenees and a mastiff pup .

One that was mine. Two as a kid growing up. I just lost Rosco a year and a half ago and haven’t been able to get another one yet.

I have a friend who field trialed and raised beagles. He's in his 80's now. Jerry now lives near Weatherford but lived in Missouri most of his life. He told me that during his third marriage, his wife walked down to his kennels and running pen. She counted his hounds. When he came back in the house she said, "you need to get rid of some of those dogs. Do you know how many hounds you have." He replied, "45 and they were here when you got here and they'll be here when you leave." He's on his fourth wife now.

Only one that was “mine”. I grew up having dogs. Beagles mainly. My wife and I got our current pooch shortly after we got married in 2014. It’s going to tear me apart when her time comes.

Had several growing up but they were my dad’s bird dogs. In 36 years of marriage my wife and I have had 6 but we’ve been dogless for the last 3 years.

I have no idea, we raised and showed Walker hounds when I was young and I use to raise Labs at one time.

17 that I can recall. Over 45 years. Currently 2, 1 Brittany Spaniel and “Muzzy” our Cav-a-poo….

I have no real clue. I currently have 14 grown catahoulas, 10 pups, one bulldog, and 3 dachshunds. I once had 30 grown catahoulas but the demand to catch wild cows is just not what it use to be.......

11 is what I'm coming up with over the last 40 years or so, not including the family dogs we had when I was a youngster living with my parents. I hope to see them all again some day.

I had to count them up. I've had 12 that I recalled in 45 years. 3 as a kid and the rest as an adult. I didn't count my wife's dogs.

I have had a lot, more than I can remember. As a kid, we always had a dog run and usually had 3-4 bird dogs and a lab. My dad love to bird hunt so every house that he has had has always had a dog run. I had a dog threw most of my college days. My wife & I have been married about 32 yrs and have always had dogs with the exception of the last 3-4 yrs or so.
