N TX Buck Age

This buck has me a little confused on age, looking for opinions on this guy. He has a ton of what looks to be gray hair. Im
thinking either young and deceiving, or ancient. This is on a new lease so I have no history.

3.5 was my option at first glance so I agree. Definitely worth giving him another year then make a decision.

Thanks, I agree with 3.5 based off body, brisket etc. the gray face threw me for a loop. We will give him the pass and see what he looks like next year if he makes it past the neighbors.

He looks like a 3.5 yr old to me at first look.

I think you can forget the white hair on this one, and use your other factors to age. I would agree, he’s likely 3 and possibly 4.
