    Fayette County Lake... Successful Trip

I posted yesterday morning asking for some advice on the lake. The TBH advice was way better that the TFF advice, go figure. It was my first time on the lake and it's a really cool place! Scenic and some good fishing. They're about 2 months ahead of Rayburn so with out the help of a few I would have never figured them out. I didn't catch any monsters (5lbs was the biggest) but I didn't catch a fish under 2lbs. I flat stomped'm yesterday and today my oil pump went out so I had to call it early

I'm looking forward to going back though, I found some really cool deep stuff!!!

I didn't want to be the first to say it. LOL. I'm not a bass fisherman, but I've been there a couple of times and straight laid a whooping down on some bass.

I love to fish and I try to be on the water from February until the late summer (then I start thinking about hunting again.) But 2 years ago my friend from Arkansas introduced me to water dogs on this lake. By far some of the funnest fishing trips I've been on!

I agree, but it makes it a lot easier to drink a cold beer!

End of baffledike is some great cat fishing and bass fishing around late march- june. Use live talapia on bottom, will smoke um every.time.

Man that looks fun! I've never caught bass like that at any lake. I'm a saltwater guy by heart but I wouldn't mind trying that.

Grew up waterdogging that lake with my uncle! Good times. Remember cutting across there around midnight when I was about 9, and dad flew right through a flock of mud hens... One hit the trolling motor and landed right between us graveyard dead lol!
