    HBO feature on Joe at Bama

    For you Bama folks... This is a great feature film on Broadway Joe in the early 60's in T town.

    Heck for all you CFB junkies this is a great flick. Catch it if you get an opportunity.

    $200,000 and new car were his demands for the pro teams... My how times have changed. Top players were lucky to make $20,000 a year.

    Joe started the modern $$$$ you see athletes getting today!

    I wish I would have been around to see this guy play. He appears to have thrown the ball harder than Favre...

    The only thing he did was go to the highest bidder and make the most money at the time. Most people have heard of him because of his guarantee and win in the super bowl. Other than that, he wore panty hose. lol

      Saw it! Prety cool and I am not a Bama fan or CFB fan. You sure could hear him release the ball. Didn't he also make a comment about his love of ladies? Something like "I'm doing what any other red blooded American male would do." Thought that took guts.

        It's all about Joe... Not just his stint at Bama. It's pretty cool.

        I didn't know much about this cat until I watched this special.
