Anybody have a jeweler that they recommend in Houston?

    Looking for a jeweler . Not Jareds.😃

Give Jacki Morgan a call. 1-281-788-3785. A coworker used her for his engagement ring, then I used her and then referred her to another. All work was top notch and cost well under appraised value.

Sam Solomon 713-780-1676. My wife lost her wedding ring and we had him design and build the replacement. Really did a great job.

Sam isn’t answering his phone. Is he still in business. He’s who I usually go to.

Not sure. I know I got a Christmas card from him this year but have not used him in several years. I'll do some digging,

Acori Diamonds and Design in Friendswood. Worth the drive, especially if you know nothing about jewelry.

TBH sponsor. Talk to Sergio. He’s very easy to work with.

As long as you're buying something. Went several times with an incredible engagement ring that was handed down to me by my mother ($15k+) that i wanted cleaned and appraised. Went in for pickup well after estimated completion date. Wasn't ready. Then went in second time and it still wasn't ready. This time, i waited while they took to "lab" in the building for cleaning. Waited for about 30 min and he couldn't even be bothered to come say hello while i waited despite the inconvenience/confusion. (All clear walls so could see him with hands behind his head watching PC). Also the dilapidated building feels like a flea market full of middle eastern jewellery brokers most with broken windows. It just felt "off." I'm not a "scary" dude but felt unsafe walking from parking garage into building with $15k in my pocket.

I've been tempted to share multiple times but didnt want the public flogging. Even still, looked at this for 10 min before posting. Flame away...

I dont expect special treatment from fellow TBHer ... Just some brotherly courtesy.
