Acorn Drop Timing in East Texas

Anyone have a good understanding of when acorns will start dropping specifically in Marion county and prediction of crop this year?

I have friends that have bumper crops of acorns but I'm not seeing hardly any in Houston County or Rusk County.

I have noticed more of the deer hanging around the tree line perimeters longer than usual. When I return home I will take a walk about and report back. I will need to drop by some of the resident white oaks to check them out.

I'm in Jasper County, the white oak in my front yard has been dropping acorns for almost 3 weeks now.

That's crazy how trees in some areas will be loaded and some will have nothing. I have a couple of huge white oaks at my house in Polk County and they are bare. None of my red oaks, white oaks, water oaks, etc. have acorns.

My experience with white oaks are the first to drop most of the time and a sure bet the wildlife eating habits have or will change soon (of course slow feeder activity).

I have a huge water oak and a couple smaller water oaks that aren't producing much at all yet along with a red oak that has some acorns but not like the white oak.

This. My yard at Rayburn also. I knew they had to be once my pics decreased about 75% on my lease in Newton County.

We have some White Oaks dropping some but they are small and feeder activity has not dropped at all.

I’m having a senior moment and can’t think of it. Texas Trophy something? Trophy Hunters something?
                        Edit: Looks like Texas Hunter.
