Take a drive down 29 until you hit 95, take a right and head south until you get to Coupland. Turn left between the gas station and post office and go over the hill. Old Coupland Inn will be on your right. Good steaks and bbq. The owners that ran it 10-15 year ago, during it's hay day, recently took it back over. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Fogo de Chao on 3rd St next to Convention Center. I went there with my family for my 41st birthday and was impressed with everything. You get every cut of meat you could dream of served to perfection!!!!!!

Best steaks in Austin: Austin Land and Cattle, not Texas Land and Cattle, but Austin Land and Cattle on Lamar next to the Tavern Bar. I heard Vince Youngs was good but can't bring myself to give my hard earned money to someone with an attitude problem.
