    College Football 2024 - Week 4

We're already a quarter of the way through the regular season!

Oklahoma gets its first opportunity to prove they are "SEC Ready" with a matchup against Josh Heupel and the Vols. Utah travels to Oklahoma State for its first Big XII road test. LSU gets another shot at a B1G foe from California. Mike Elko faces another former team (and Weigman/Reed begin their joint Heisman campaigns ) as the Ags host Bowling Green. The Horns defend their #1 ranking against undefeated UL Monroe. TCU and SMU square off in a BigXII/ACC battle as both try to rebound from tough losses. Baylor travels to Boulder looking to shut up Team Sanders. Does Billy Napier survive another week? Can BOB recover in College Pick Em?

I can't believe we are really 1/4 of the way through. It feels like we are just starting to get going. I was thinking we were greatly improved, but the Miss St team we beat got whipped this weekend by Toledo. I think Texas Tech will be a good marker to how far we have come. Congrats to the Horns on the #1. Let's see how long yall can stay there. I watched some of the Aggy game and I was impressed with Reed. The kid came in ready to play and take the team on his back. I think Napier is out this week. Opening weekend coming up soon, but I think I will sit it out if this heat persists. They last few openers have been sweat tests and not really enjoyable.

As one of the few UH fans on here. And I know that we played Rice but man Willie Fritz is the real deal. In 3 games he has changed the Coogs from Dana 2.0.
The man went to the SaberCats the Houston Ruby team to teach them how tackle in the new era of do not hit the QB.

I do hope that this is the turn that they need. The coach that will stay and build the program. The program that others said they would but chased the money to other Schools and fell flat on their faces.

Frog gave one away that was all wrapped up. Got outcoached.

Free agency is really making Pick 'em tough. Tied for 16th and still in the mix, well ahead of BoB as he's put it in reverse

Iron Skillet this week. BKlem, where you at? One week bet?

LSU hopefully gets a few weeks to figure stuff out before kiffin and company come to death valley

Also how is Tennessee only a 7.5 point favorite over OU. Feel they win by 14 plus

Needed that game vs UNT. Hopefully Tech got some kinks worked out and back on track. I did really enjoy seeing Elite 11 Will Hammond sling it to Hudson in the second half. Kid was throwing darts!

Man, I thought he played great, but was concerned about some of his decisions. Some of his passes, even some that were caught for TDs, were very risky and probably would have been INTs against a better team's secondary. I am glad he is getting more experience, but if he plays the same against OU or UGA, they will eat him up. Defenses like that don't let you get away with mistakes/poor decisions very often.
