    Youth hearing protection?

Looking to get my kids some decent hearing protection. I just use foam earplugs. What do yall recommend? Kids are 12 and 8 .

My vote goes to quality earmuffs. They tend to be more comfortable for younger kids while you don't have to worry if they are actually pushing the plugs in far enough. Up graded my son last year to Walker Razors with no regrets.

They might be a tad bit bulky for the 8 yr old, but they work fine and the kids can still hear you when you give instructions

Good thing about these is they won't need to take them on and off to hear. Plus they will help keep their ears warm

Get electronic ear muffs from your Academy or similar store. We got a 1/2 dozen pairs of em that been using with our kids and on youth hunts we guide. Absolute game changer. You can still whisper instructions when your in the moment but they are so much more at ease shooting. Do keep in mind to practice with them as depending on the gun stock, they might have to make slight adjustments in how they place cheek on gun.

              You need a quieter bow.

Good plan on getting them while they’re young. Tinnitus from an early age would be the chitz.

Electronic with a roller style dial for volume.

Walker's Razor Series or Axil TRACKR

I got my boys walkers razor compact electronic muffs. They are 8 and 10 and work great for both of them.
