Another speed goat hunt in the books

Heading home from my annual antelope hunt to northeast New Mexico. We normally go much earlier, so we followed two other groups of hunters.

antelope were skittish and the hunt was more challenging than usual. Weather was great. Low 50’s to mid 80’s

i was able to tag out the first morning after a very long stalk/crawl. 550 yard shot with my Alamo Precision 7 mag.

Thanks. The equipment is way better than I am. Also went to a long range class that really helped. I would have preferred a closer shot, but he was getting suspicious and all his girl friends were really getting nervous.
