There are so many that probably won’t change .
Man, you are all over the map in your logic of thinking. The fence line post, you are looking for nothing but the negative there.

As for the individual in the video, I am not sure bragging and telling stories about our illegal exploits is exactly seeking redemption for your wrongdoings.

this man is a very broken individual in his laughing about what he did - I took it that he was looking back on his pisspoor criminal choices . After telling about things he had done and he talked about in his future if he actually did kill anything legally no one would ever believe him. For myself personally I saw humility in his older age. Maybe I’m wrong about what I’m seeing in him. So in your opinion I was negative in the fence line post and now that I’m being positive that’s wrong also. There is no winning for me with you. I don’t want to offend anyone on here!

Op I apologize for this derail, please carry on .

He’s trying to monetize his criminal history and choices. I don’t consider that a changed man who is apologetic about his prior choices, redeemed, changed, whatever you want to call it. The little bit I’ve seen of him it appears he’s not sorry about it but rather sorry he got caught.

Supporting him and giving him attention is only supporting him.

I don't see the big deal. It's just an old guy telling stories for entertainment. Now days I'm just glad he's working. LoL

Ol Charles Beatty, he resurfaces about every three years are so. I thought the last time
around he was about to die of cancer or some illness. I guess he beat the illness.

it's ok, don't apologize, everyone is entitled to their opinion, I don't care much or have an opinion of the man , just thought I would share the video for those interested in seeing how poachers operate and think

I’m glad you posted. I watched the full video and find it entertaining. I do find it conflicting because of what he did (stealing) vs my interest in the stories because I love hunting.

I bought his book and it was an interesting read. A semi modern Robinhood. Times were a lot different back then. I doubt many people would have the physical or mental stamina to do what he did.

Read pat lane’s book before the stories are lost.
