Lightweight hiking boots under $100??

I've only done 2 hunts out west. 1 week hunting bear in Idaho and 1 hunting elk in NW Colorado. I guess I didn't do enough walking because I took a couple pairs of cheap boots and didn't have any issues. Of course, I'm a cheapo and have never had expensive boots so maybe I don't know what I'm missing.

Cheap mountain boots are like cheap China bomb trailer tires….

Never putting weight on those trailer tires, and they might last a long while, put some weight on them/toss in a elk hind qtr+… then question is what came first ankle instability issues or the blow out, and are you a mile from truck or 4……

But to your point extra luko tape is cheaper than high end boots.

I have 4 pairs of these. Love them. Im subscribed to their site and they do send some really good deals out every now and then. I usually get them half off. I like the full leather for the mountains too.
