I think I'm going to buy a rolling 100-125qt cooler and pack my back pack full of gear and put it in the cooler for the flight up. On the flight back I'll just check my backpack as an extra bag. I may try dry ice and have a processor as a backup plan. I wonder how much dry ice it would take to freeze it? Do I need to put cardboard between the meat and dry ice?

I have a large tote SKB case for my gear and I pack a yeti panga in the Tote. My bow case is full of clothes as well.
When I killed a Roosevelt elk in Oregon, I was able to pack the SKB tote and yeti panga full of frozen meat, packed my backpack (carry on)/bow case full of clothes and headed home.
        No issues..

Had a lot of people looking all crazy at me while I was trying to stuff it back in.

Well I just checked this on my flight so I think you’d have no problem with a pronghorn.

Just carry the head on-board. You'll have both seats beside you empty, to stretch out on.

There's not much meat from a boned-out antelope and the head is small. I typically drive, but have flown with antelope meat frozen in a yeti m30 and carried on the head in small bag. Not a big deal at all.

Check your meat in cooler as checked baggage. Freeze meat ahead of time if you have it, add dry ice to it. Mail your clothes back using UPS or fed ex
