I buy and rebuild/repair cars as a retirement hobby. I wouldn't touch that one. The way it was hit looks like it diamonded the cab. It will most likely be a tire eater, and may look really wonky going down the road. Plus the cab being tweaked may have some leaks at the doors and around the windshield. Salvage title is not a problem, but I would really question the ability of most body shops to straighten a hit like that.

I work in the salvage and rebuild title industry and would avoid that one particularly but I’m not totally against buying one if the conditions are right. At 8500 you’re spending a lot more than that thing is worth.
