Central Tx gunsmiths?

Any recommendations on a gunsmith in the central tx area (Austin to Waco). I'm needing a lever action barrel cut and threaded, and the tube shortened.

I took my new to me Winchester side x side to McBrides years ago thinking I had a firing pin problem because of misfires. The Winchester guru there said nope, this shotgun will not shoot the cheap shotgun loads because of the way the primer is seated. He had me go downstairs and buy a box of 7.5 Rio and shot it 25 times on their range. He then broke it down on the counter while I watched as checked everything out and put it back together. He said $10 ought to cover it.

I had a buddy cut and thread an octagon barrel 3030. He cut the tube and dove tailed a connection to the barrel.

2nd Mark Pharr. Good people. Great gunsmith. Has also done tons of stuff for folks I know.

McBrides won't do it, not a class 3 dealer. I've used tumbleweed several times before but he won't do it either. Tried Capitol armory, they can't. Any other recommendations?

Try giving BlackJack a call. They are in Cedar Park. I have only used them once but was happy with their work.
