After 1.5 hours on the phone yesterday and 2 hours at the office today for 10mins to ask a question, I'm looking for someone to kick in the taint! Sheesh.

Randy, are there any smaller towns with SS offices? You might look into that and call one to make an appointment. My wife did that and it was pretty easy for her. I know SSA and easy really don't correlate.

I got it taken care of. What's funny is the web site say's calling is the fastest way to get help. I was on hold almost as long as I waited at the office just to be told to go to the office. I hate going to
the office. I think I was the only American born person in there. Even the worker I talked to had a foreign accent.

Never had a problem @ our local office. Call for appointment, show up @ appointed time and take care of business.
