    Water proof hunting pants! Suggestions?

I have been looking for a good pair of water proof early season hunting pants. Rip/tear resistant and not loud. I know Sitka has some good pants but I don’t want to spend $275-$350 for a pair of pants either. What do you guys recommend or have experience with that works good?
note: I walk through a lot of wet mountain oak scrub in Colorado and when it gets wet. It saturates you bad. Down to your socks.

I don't know of anything other than rubber rain gear that is "waterproof". I think your best bet is some quality gaiters like Outdoor Research Crocodiles over some lightweight pants with a DWR treatment such as kuiu attacks, sitka traverse, king's ridges, etc.

Other option would be wearing lightweight rain pants that have lengthwise zippers and zipping them open on your hips and thighs to vent and keep your lower legs dry.

Do you not wear gaiters? I don’t have that same issue but I wear gaiters, I hardly even take rain paints. I’d didn’t even pack them on a sheep hunt last year.

Kuiu has Hybrid paint called the axis that has water proof panels. They would breath a lot better then rain pant

I normally wear Prana Zion’s and I coat the legs with Revivex or Graingers DWR. It normally takes a good 4-5 days before my thighs wet out.

KUIU has a sale going on. I got some of their rain gear.

Put away rain pants long ago and went with gaiters. Much quieter and keeps your lower legs and socks dry.
I do have some fairly quiet rain pants, Core4element ones from year back.

The not loud part is gonna be the hard to reach requirement. Almost everything that is waterproof is also loud!
