Mmmm not so sure about that. Ghandi and Mother Teresa were peaceful. Anyone can be violent. Most people just choose not to be. Wouldn't be that hard to cause extreme pain and death upon people if one chose to do so. Anyone can get a gun and bullets. From the weakest of kids at school getting bullied every day to the strongest among us.
"You Should Be a Monster. Everyone says, “Well, you should be harmless, virtuous, you shouldn't do anyone any harm, you should sheath your competitive instinct. You shouldn't try to win. You don't want to be too aggressive. You don't want to be too assertive.” No. Wrong. You should be a monster, an absolute monster, and then you should learn how to control it. It's better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war.
Is Jesus Christ not the perfect living example of that? He has the ability (and right) to totally annihilate all humanity and yet He continually shows us how to "control" that urge through mercy and grace?
Likewise, if anyone has ever read the book of Revelation ( or it's better know cousin revelations) than they know Christ is indeed a Warrior King that will one day return the world back to it's pre-fall garden state for all the redeemed.

I was half way just messing around BUT…….i interpret that differently than you did. Being capable of violence and choosing violence are 2 different things.
