I am booked to go for 9 days 7 nights in early May. Any of y'all hunted with this outfit before? Any advise on hunting the early season with a bow and any overall Africa hunting trip advise would be much appreciated. BTW these guys are in Namibia.

see if they have daily laundry service. if they do, pack your clothes in your bow case. this will servive as added protection for your bow and will cut down on the # of bags u gotta check in. You should only need 2 or 3 changes of clothes at the most. if you have any huntin clothes or boots you dont plan on keeping. pack those. when you are done with the hunt, leave them for the tracker/ skinner. whatever you do, DONT OVER PACK! Believe me, you will not need everything you are planning on taking!

Water holes will not be at a premium at this time, but spot and stalk should be good. Make sure and listen to your PH on shot placement. A little different than over here. Do not and I repeat, do not flash any money around anyone in the airport in J'oberg! Clothes and cash are good tips for the trackers/skinners, but give the cash to the PH to divide as sometimes the trackers/skinners will get jealous if someone gets more than he does and this leads to a lot of fights among the trackers/skinners. If you have not already booked your flight, stay away from South African Airways.
