Today my daughter had her PIR graduation from boot camp in Great Lakes, Il.
To say I’m proud would be an understatement. She not only survived, but thrived. Madison was assigned to Division 936, a performance division. The job she was assigned was something she really didn’t want to do, serve water to the special guests because she had server experience waiting tables in high school. Madison wanted to be Honor Guard so the RDC told her that if she wanted a different job to prove she was better at it than someone else and she could have the job. After hearing that she practiced with the Honor Guard team every day and was told, why are you here, you aren’t Honor Guard. Madison’s response was always, not yet!! Well, today’s graduation, her graduation was the 4th time she performed as Honor Guard.
Congratulations Madison you did it!
I wrote my Senator and we had a Texas flag flown over the capital today in her honor for her achievements.
