I know the power of prayers here and could use some for our family and the family of Ace Ashford. Ace was a 18 year old young man who was unlike any 18 year old kid I've ever met. He was one of the most respectful kids I know had such a good heart was so genuine and kind. He was killed yesterday on a tragic accident on a horse. He has spent his whole life on and around horses team roped and had a full scholarship to go rope which he would have been leaving for school in 2 weeks. He had a ranch job over the summer where he was working a colt and the horse got spooked. He was star flighted but didn't make it to the hospital.
Having a hard time understanding why this happened and why it happens to the good ones. Ace was one of the good ones who would have gone on to do great things contribute to this world and lead a good life. As an 18 year old he had an effect on alot of people's life's and our families life. Can't think of many kids his age that can be said about. Me and my wife were talking and we both said if we can raise our 5 year old to be like Ace we will be doing great. It's the biggest compliment I can give to someone. I know he's with our Lord in heaven now but we are all struggling on why now. I know how bad our family is hurting over this so I can't imagine how his parents are feeling right now.
