It appears as though the motor is inside the feed hopper. Is this correct?

That timer looks exactly like the "Timer". Looks great on quality and design; will wait for 600lb one.

Unfortunately, we are small company so our freight rates aren't great. If you are local we can set it up to be picked up here in Carrollton, TX or I can try to get you a small discount to help. This will be set up on Tractor Supply's website, just waiting for it to come live on their website. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes, the motor, wires, and timer are all inside away from critters. The motor is at the bottom of the hopper whereas the timer and wires are inside a small battery box toward the top of the hopper.

I’ll wait for the option at Tractor Supply. I’ve been using the Treeline 600lbs feeder for about 6 months with no issues. I do like the option of the varmint guard but I can wait on the availability.

I have two of these type feeders (Treeline)
Make sure the wire from the motor to the timer is not in the way of the corn entering the funnel area. I pulled mine up a little and taped it to the motor. The corn flows better after the adjustment. I also installed cage on it to keep the coons off the spinner. It works without the cage but felt better about the cage on it.
