Homes- UBH, mobile homes, modular and otgers

Looking at putting a home on rural property. So Barndos are out as I’m being quoted 200+ per square foot completed. After my divorce a bought an older small mobile home for cash and took it to studs. I turned it into a a big 1 bedroom, 2 bath, new wiring, roof, spray foamed- perfect for an old man. Easy to clean, energy efficient and paid for but now not perfect since I got remarried. I never thought another marriage was in the cards. So now a new home is in the cards. I’d like to have one built/ bought turn key ready. I work 50-60 hours a week now and no desire to do work on a home after I get off work.
I know I’ve read posts here where members have built/ had homes built. Anyone have a UBH? Thoughts on those? Modular homes seems like like a glorified
/ renamed mobile home? I’d like suggestions for options out there. I’m not a carpenter and really do not like doing that type of work. I do not really have much experience in this area. In the past I’ve bought homes in the city that were ready to go. Not looking for a mansion. A nice 3/2 around 1800-2k square foot home is what we hope to have. I’d love to stay in the 200k -250k range.
looking for suggestions/ ideas/ homes I’ve not thought of/ considered

I was just looking for a used mobile for my mom... And I thought used car salesmen and their Ads were bad..Geez. And no idea a used mobile home (not including AC, delivery, set-up etc) would be well over 100k.

We just got a palm harbor. Grand total was about $180. 1900sqft.

Time will tell regarding quality and issues, but so far we’re happy.

Davis Jenkins Construction. They are in Johnson county and build in the surrounding counties.

Wells Construction here in town recently built a few for people I know and price was closer to $150-160 a foot. And Roger is a good guy to work with. I went with Tilson years ago but I refuse to recommend them, don't get me wrong it's a nice house but they were a pain in the arse and had them coming out two years later still fixing things they did wrong. I'm a local Broker if you need any help in finding someone let me know, be happy to as least give you some phone numbers.
