    Mini Split Question

I had a mini split put in the man cave portion of my shop this past year. This summer I have kept it on about 78 until I go in there and then turn it down to 70. The other morning I went in to work out and noticed a picture hanging underneath it and my pintail mount had water spots on it. The picture fell off the wall because the hanger ripped out of the carboard backer from getting wet. The floor nor the plywood on the wall was wet though. Is this normal for there to be this much condensation dripping on the inside off the unit?

Check the drain. It is probably stopped up.

Exterior drain line, just happened to my grandma's unit last week. Simple fix.

Probably a clogged drain. Could also be happening if the unit is dirty. With the unit off, look through the louvres at the blower wheel and see how much buildup is on it. Might be time for some maintenance.

Portable shop vac works great for clearing the line.

Thank yall. Hopefully get a shop vac and try to suck out any clog in the line this weekend.

I just went through mine after a year. Cleaned the internal coils and pan. It had some funky stuff in there. Now it will freeze you out of the room. The gunk in the pan will clog the drain line pretty easily.
