    Cowtown, Here We Come

    This week, we will be in Ft. Worth at the Texas Trophy Hunters Extravaganza at the Convention Center. I will be doing seminars, "Calling Predators in the 21st Century" at 12:00 PM on Saturday and 11:00 AM on Sunday. Steve and I will be in Booth 225 selling hand calls, my book, EYES FRONT and the FREQ. I will be selling chances on a Ruger M-77 Hawkeye Predator Hunter and the proceeds will go to rebuild the Canal through Menard.
    I hope to see all of my Old Friends and meet some New Friends this weekend.

    Trying to convince my husband to attend the FW show. I still haven’t seen the John Wayne exhibit! (If i haven’t mentioned a time or two, he and I are distant cousins…).

      If I end up making it, I will swing by and introduce myself. I also think the Ft. Worth show is the best of the three. What are your thoughts on that as a vendor?

        I am sure you mean you and JW are distant cousins, but when I first read this I thought you were talking about you and your husband were.

              Believe it or not, most vendors seem to do better at the San Antonio show over the last several years. Ft. Worth will have the most attendees but they seem to spend more in SA. Most everyone agrees that Houston is the weakest of the shows.
              TTHA is going to have a show in Dallas at Kay Bailey in January and then one in Midland later in the year but I forget the date. Midland should be an excellent location as there's a lot of money out there and lots of hunters.

                Midland will be April 11-13 in the Horseshoe.

                  My husband and I will be there this weekend. I have not been to a TTHA show in Fort Worth in over 10 years. Looking forward to seeing everything.

                  We live in Midland and have gone to that one in the past. Definitely smaller scale.
