If you have a single handle faucet then I suspect that's the problem. If you have dual valve faucet then you haves gremlins.

The aerator might be clogged, which can often cause issues with water flow. Try unscrewing it and cleaning it thoroughly to ensure it’s not obstructing the flow of hot water. If cleaning the aerator doesn’t resolve the problem, you might want to explore other options. Reading Mr Waterheater reviews could be helpful, as they offer insights into how effectively they handle similar issues. Many users have praised their quick and efficient service, so contacting them might be a good move

I once was looking at potential rental homes and came across a house that had a brand new water heater, but there was no hot water flow from any of the faucets in the house. I checked to make sure that the water supply was turned on going into the water heater. It was. I was interested in the house but wasn't about to make an offer because of what I suspected the problem to be. My suspicion was that sediment from the old water heater had made it's way into the hot water pipes and made it's way to the faucets, where the sediment was too large to pass. In retrospect, it also could have come from the plumber stuffing a piece of rag into the supply pipe in order to stop a drip while he was soldering on a new threaded fitting for the valve, then forgetting to remove it. I suspect that your problem has to do with sediment in the valve or cartridge. There are a couple of ways to clear it, neither of them quick and easy because it involves removing the faucet and backflushing it. If you find it to be clogged, you should also flush the water pipe prior to reinstalling the faucet.

I don't think that a clogged aerator is the problem unless both hot and cold has no flow.

Turn off hot water valve to sink. Disconnect flex hose from sink and put into a bucket. Turn water on and run into bucket. If it gets hot you need to replace cartridge in faucet.
