    Which Scope for Crossbow?

I have the stock scope on my crossbow and it lost zero last year one time on me. Anybody have any recommendations for a replacement?

My personal 2 favorites are :

    - Hawke XB30 Compact SR .
locking speed ring , etched reticle with 5 yard increment hold overs

    - Huskemaw cross field
good glass , single cross hair with adjustable turret for yardage adjustment

I have used an illuminated reticle Zeiss Diavari 2.5-10x50mm on my main hunting crossbow for several years, and I have an illuminated reticle Leupold VX3 1.5-5 on my back up bow.

I bought this one to replace the factory scope and it has been great and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I recently bought a Hawke xb30 Pro. Clear glass and is supposed to have good clarity at dawn and dusk.

I got the Vortex Crossfire Crossbow scope from Arrow Smith here on TBH and it's been great, much better than all the others I've used. I don't care for Vortex on rifles but the xbow scope is pretty good.

I too am using the Vortex crossbow scope. I followed the directions and fine tuned the magnification setting to match the velocity of my arrows and it’s dead on from 20yds to 60yds. I think I paid around $200 and it’s great for that price.

Thank y’all. I’ll check out a few of those recommendations. I was thinking of putting on a rifle scope I have sitting here(leopold vxii) but seeing that may not be a good idea online.

Yeah. From what I understand, putting a rifle scope on a crossbow may work short term but would quickly destroy the scope!

Check out the Ravin take-off scopes at Wyvern Creations. Great deal for the money.
