Things to do around Broken Bow?

The wife and I are going for a few days and just curious what there is to do around there. I'm dragging my boat for a day of crappie fishing but I'm pretty sure 1 day of fishing is all that will be allowed. Anything else to do there?

Swim in the river, it’s refreshingly cool on a hot day. You can trout fish too.

otherwise relax, slow down. We didn’t try to do much else when we were there.

To heck with the Crappie, go Trout Fishing in the River behind Broken Bow Lake. There are Large Rainbow Trout in there and I have personally caught them, That is what I would do.

i liked fishing behind the broken bow dam. lots of places to fish and used suspending and sinking tiny rapalas to catch them. no giants but still fun

Same here. We went I think the year it opened and it was awesome. Service was top notch along with some good food.
