Haven't been back since. Wasn't worth it. Haven't tried Jack and Dorothys. Wasn't impressed with Pizza Place though. It was meh.

All the above are good. My personal preferences are Mi Fam for Mexican and Montanas. Grumps and Hard 8 are other good options. To add to the others Habanero is pretty good for lunch and is similar to a Chipotle with bowls, burritos, etc. Big Os is a favorite sandwich shop but it is closed right now, and I am not sure when (and if) it is going to open. Let me know if you have any questions about campus or Tarleton in general. I graduated in 21 and have a brother there right now.

Best CFS in Stephenville is Greer's hands down. I would argue the best restaurant in town as well.
-Jake and Dorothy's for the classic diner experience
-Mi Familia for Mexican
-Pastafina for italian, actually one of the better italian places I've been to anywhere
-Steve and Mary's and Ruby's were the best for sandwiches but I'm pretty sure both closed down
-Big O's for the Gyro's
-Hard 8 for BBQ
-Montana's for american, Chicken strips are pretty good, tell mom to try her a grizzly/polar bear
-Fuzzy's for the fajita plate, chips and queso, and fuzzy driver's (frozen screw driver)
-Greer's for a little upscale dining on the square, Chicken Fried Steak is great
-Grump's for good greasy hamburger
OP tell them to enjoy the visit, the school and town are much bigger than when I went to school there, I'm a little biased but it would be the best decision your daughter could ever make for herself and you as a parent.
