Conex Containers?

I know several people on here have conex containers so I'm looking for input on purchasing one or two. I see there are tons of them listed on FB Marketplace & other online sources, but they all appear to be larger distributors located various places even though their listings show to be local. I'm never sure who's legit on there, so was hoping someone could recommend a seller they've used with success. I'll be needing it in the Waller 77484 area. I really need a 40', but am tempted to go with a couple 20 footers simply because I can actually haul a 20 on my trailer. They will be used to temporary storage while we are between houses and I'd probably sell them once I'm done and moved or move them to my Dad's place.

Any suggestion on where to buy & anything particular to look for when buying? I see they have several different tiers of pricing depending on age, condition, etc...

There have been some good deals on cans at Rickie Brothers auctions. Like any auction, some go high, some go at retail and some go cheap. I'd be looking for a one trip can.

There are a whole bunch of 40's that have been parked next to my neighborhood for the last few years. No idea why, what's in them, or who owns them. Property has been vacant since I moved here in '96. They also don't appear to have locks on them. I've always wondered if someone would miss one of them...
