    Vortex Bios. Which one?

I'm about to pick up a "free" pair of bios. I can either one from the Viper line up, not the ViperHD, or the Diamondback line up. Which would are clearier? I'd go with either the Viper 10x28 or the DB 12x50.

Or I could pick a Nomad straight through spotting scope, which I can't find a need for cept at the rifle range.

The Diamondback and the Viper are both excellent glass for the money. Both are very clear if I had to choose from the two you listed I would go with the Diamondback 12x50. Are those the only two you can get? I personally like the Diamondback 10x42 myself.

I can pretty much pick of any of them in the line up. I can't remember my password for my account, so I can't look again here at work. But I think they were pretty much all on the list.

Does the fit of the 10x42 just feel better or something?

                .

I have the 12+50 db's. Really like them but for bowhunting wish I had got the 10+50. Either way you will like them!

I have the DB 10x42 and the straight nomad spotting scope and both are awesome optics. Used them in NM on an elk hunt and they worked very well.

So its looking like the Diamondbacks are the ones most of yall have.

Whats the advatange to them over the the Vipers, just a bigger lens?

I have the Vipers in a 15x50HD, low light visibility is excellent.

I think 10X42 is the best size for multi use hunting scenarios. Small enough to pack but big enough for stand use.

Sounds like I'll order the DB 10x42 in the morning then. I do like the though of easy to pack. They should be a big step up from a pair of cheap 9x20s I have.
